About SWAD

A diversified group built around long-term ownership.

SWAD Holdings combines operating businesses, investment capabilities and long-term asset ownership across multiple sectors and markets.

Who We Are

A Nigerian-headquartered group with a global outlook.

Founded by Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Marshall Onyekachi C. Ezinwoke, SWAD Holdings is a privately held group headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.

We invest in, build and operate businesses across a range of essential and growth-oriented sectors, with Africa as an important strategic home market and a global mandate for opportunities beyond it.

Our model is deliberately hybrid: we are investors, but we also understand the operational realities required to scale companies, manage risk and operate assets. This perspective allows SWAD to identify structural trends, form operating platforms and work with institutional partners where long-term ownership can support durable growth.

What We Do

Invest. Build. Operate.

SWAD combines investment and operating capabilities. Our sector businesses pursue opportunities within defined mandates, while SWAD Holdings provides Group-level strategy, capital allocation, governance and oversight.

We focus on sectors with genuine structural demand, capital intensity and room for operational excellence: technology, energy, logistics, real estate, financial services, digital infrastructure, agriculture, infrastructure and natural resources.

Operating Philosophy

Independent businesses. Common standards.

01

Patient ownership

We are not constrained by short fund cycles. We develop platforms with the time horizon required for assets, teams and markets to mature.

02

Operating accountability

Each business has focused leadership, defined sector mandates and the independence to compete with discipline.

03

Capital discipline

Investment decisions are shaped by cash flow, risk, governance standards and a clear path to resilient scale.

04

Strategic partnerships

We work with institutions, operators and governments where combined capability can unlock long-term value.

Global Footprint

From Lagos to global markets.

Our headquarters are in Lagos, supported by international offices and relationships in key commercial and financial centres.
